Basic Troubleshooting

If you're stairlift won't go, watch this video to see the simple steps you can take. Usually one of these will fix the problem.

Footrest Won't Fold

Code 3

If you have a straight stairlift (not one what goes around corners), and you can see the number 3 in the window on the side of the carriage, watch this video to solve the problem.

Code 4

If you have a straight stairlift (not one what goes around corners), and you can see the number 4 in the window on the side of the carriage, watch this video to solve the problem.

Code 5

If you have a straight stairlift (not one what goes around corners), and you can see the number 5 in the window on the side of the carriage, watch this video to solve the problem.

Code 8 or H

Code 1, 9, F, Flashing or No Code

If you have a straight stairlift (not one what goes around corners), and you can see the number 1 or 9, or an F in the window on the side of the carriage, watch this video to solve the problem. This is also the video to watch if the symbol in the window is flashing, or there's no symbol at all.
